This superbly managed hotel is one of the pioneers in tourism development in the region. The property was built in the 1980s, and its owners and management have had the foresight to continuously maintain the quality of service and installations, and to improve the property by periodically remodeling the rooms and common areas. Construction and room expansion has been done in accordance to the region’s ecology and keeping the hotel’s clientele in mind.

Costa Verde is very popular with sports-fishermen. While this could potentially be off-putting to some families and couples, the hotel has resolved this situation by adding an adult-only wing, with its own pool. Families and couples will feel very comfortable in this hotel as the family-oriented section was designed with children in mind. Travelers in groups of adults only or single travelers can relax in the recently finished adult-only section, where no children are allowed.

There are a few highly popular one and two-bedroom villas and studios, perfect for families requiring multi-room accommodations. Some of these villas even provide a small kitchen with basic appliances, ideal to keep snacks at hand and to prepare light meals. Most units have air conditioning, and those that do not, still enjoy the cool ocean breeze that keeps temperatures low at night (as promised by hotel management).
