Arenal - Monteverde - Manuel Antonio - Pacuare Rafting
11 night / 12 day

A wonderful combination of adventure, nature and luxury accommodations in four of the country's most visited regions. We have designed this 12-day/11-night honeymoon package to feature many of Costa Rica's highlights such as lush rainforest, active volcanoes, hot springs, and the mystical Cloud Forest. You will be able to observe wildlife, spend time on the shores of the Pacific Ocean and finish your trip with a two-day Class IV white water rafting expedition.  Three daily kosher meals are prepared under strict supervision in San Jose, shipped to each hotel and will be served by each hotel.

Day 1: Arrive at San Jose International Airport followed by a private transfer to the award-winning Tabacon Grand Spa, nestled at the base of the active Arenal Volcano. Check into a Garden/Jungle room at the resort and visit the hot springs to unwind, relax and indulge at this five star resort.

Day 2: Have an adventure in nature! Choose from these spectacular activities in the Arenal Volcano region.

Visit the Fortuna River Waterfalls, located about three miles from town.  Here, magnificent waterfalls cascade into the rainforest.  If you wish, you will have the opportunity to hike and swim in the river.

Go rafting on the Sarapiqui River. The river has Class III and IV rafting for adventure aficionados and the slower paced Floating Safari Class II rafting for nature lovers.  Both are excellent tour choices featuring amazing scenery, plenty of wildlife and thrilling adventure.

Try canyoning, one of the country's top adventure activities.  Rappel down a waterfall inside the rainforest, truly an unforgettable experience!

Experience the thrill of zip lining through the canopy of the rainforest on the Sky Trek and Aerial Tram, one of Costa Rica's top canopy tours. A great way to experience the rain forest and a real adrenaline rush!

Return to a pampering couples massage offered in a private bungalow inside the gardens, with private use of the Jacuzzi for Two.  Overnight in a Garden/Jungle room at Tabacon Grand Spa.

Day 3: Free day to explore the Arenal Volcano Region, embark on a new adventure in nature or stay at the resort for Temazcal, yoga and spa therapies (additional fee).  Overnight in a Garden / Jungle room at Tabacon Grand Spa.

Day 4: After breakfast embark on a 15-minute speed boat ride to cross Arenal Lake, followed by a ride up the mountains to Monteverde.  Witness the changes in vegetation and climate as you ascend from 900 meters (2700 feet) to 2600 meters (7800 feet) above sea level.  Check into a Junior Suite at Hotel El Establo, one of the top resorts on the mountain.  In the afternoon, explore the Cloud Forest in the Monteverde National Park.

Day 5: Following an early breakfast, experience the thrill of the Sky Trek Canopy adventure or hike across the hanging bridges of the Sky Walk.  The Sky Trek is a signature canopy adventure that consists of a series of platforms and lines that allow you to glide through the forest.  The Sky Walk consists of a guided hike over suspended bridges spanning the Cloud Forest.  Take in spectacular views of the volcano and the lake and explore the rainforest from three distinct perspectives: the ground level, the mid section and from above.  In the afternoon, enjoy free time to embark on another activity in the Monteverde Region. Overnight in a Junior Suite at El Establo.

Day 6: Time to relax at the beach!  Board the private transfer van for the four-hour journey through the mountains towards the Pacific Coast. Upon arrival in the Manuel Antonio Region, check into a Superior room at Hotel Si Como No. This boutique hotel is a member of the Green Hotels of Costa Rica. Located within the forest, the hotel features breathtaking views of the ocean from its balconies.

Marvel at the unspoiled beaches of Manuel Antonio and the mysterious islands that lie just offshore as you sail on a 37-foot catamaran over Central Pacific waters.  Jagged rock formations and towering cliffs are nesting grounds to countless marine birds and their young.  Look for spotted dolphins and keep an eye out for giant sea turtles and migrating humpback whales.   The tour will stop in one of the many protected jungle coves to swim, snorkel and enjoy lunch or dinner.
